Elisabeth grew up in Weißwasser and spent a lot of time with her youngest brother Alfred. After Alfred's death in 1987, Elisabeth sought contact through her son-in-law. Over the years the address details were lost or no longer correct and it was not so easy to trace someone back. Elisabeth told us that she had a good relationship with Alfred. She remembered that he saved her life in Weißwasser. Elisabeth felt undergoing and thought to herself that it was over when she suddenly felt a hand and pulled her out of the water. It was Alfred who had noticed. Later she always found her brother, a place name was often enough as in Grevenmacher. Elisabeth was a tough lady. She learned to play the violin when she was around 80. The whole Jecelin family was musical.
