On 08.10.1950, Minny wrote a letter to her parents about the birth of their first daughter in February, in order to reach a reconciliation. Eventually this was possible (probably early 1951) but the reunion would be short-lived. The jealousy of Wilhelmina Koos remains and Alfred writes in his notebook his story about this spread over 60 pages. Of course the situation is explosive, but still it succeeds a number of months to meet each other.

Maybe you're wondering why Alfred only had one child. The reason is simple. After his daughter was born, he got mumps which was a big problem for men in those days. It could make you infertile, which was the case with Alfred.
