09.06.1956 Fritz sr. describes the state of affairs of his family:
- He is remarried and also retired. His first wife had died and he had to take care of his 4 adolescents during WWII.
- He is going to build his own home.

- Loni his daughter who stayed in Germany. Helga, on the other hand, has also emigrated to Australia and is doing well with her husband.
- Fritz sr his brother comes to visit from England and his sister comes from Görlitz (Eastern Bloc). The two had not seen each other for 30 years.
- WWII destroyed a lot, he had to leave his house behind during their flight for the Russians. A large part of his life was not an easy one and it is not over yet.
