The fact that Alfred had contacted Dolf Cauwenberghs soon became known, so someone who had worked for Alfred also got in touch. This person had arranged to meet us 'by chance'. During the visits, memories were recalled and also specific questions came up that we did not answer. We let the contact with that person bleed to death. Later after Alfred's death, it was clear Alfred had regularly sent '100 DEM'.

He is still receiving visits from Loni Jochmann who is taking care of Alfred.

Meanwhile, he is also getting his papers in order to travel to Brazil.

As expected, his health is not improving. At a check-up, the doctor makes the following diagnosis:
